At Gad & Rek, it’s all about dreaming up and designing spaces that promote dialogue. For us, each space is a reflection and an extension of one’s own personality. We are believers of the fact that design is not just about walls, table and chairs- it’s about the families & the brands that live and grow in these spaces. WHAT’S IN A NAME?

The name Gad & Rek is inspired by the opposing blocks used in printing, called “Gadh” & “Rekh”. “Rekh” is the outline bloc that serves as a guide for the placement of subsequent blocks whereas the “Gadh” block is the polar opposite of Rekh block and is employed to create colours in the background of the cloth. Together, they are used to create intricate patterns & dsigns. At Gad & Rek , we believe in working with these polarities – seemingly opposing forces in a space and creating solutions to make them coexist harmoniously and even complement one another.

Raghav Mehra

/THE MAVERICK

Raghav Mehra, the founder is is a Delhi-based interior designer.. The 30 year old was mentored by India’s finest Rohit Bal and Adreesh Chakraborty in the beginning of his professional career. In his spare time Raghav’s pluralism flirts with fashion and art. Raghav’s touch expands beyond interiors to designing weddings and exhibitions as well.

After his stint in Mumbai with Gauri Khan and Rupin Suchak, Raghav founded GAD & REK in the year 2020 and since then, it has been delivering homes, spaces and everything beautiful.
